Hi, I am Meredith Jennings and thank you for visiting our web site. My husband and I moved to Davidson, NC, in September of 2003. We love it here. Both of us were born and raised in Memphis, TN. We attended Univ. of Memphis and in 1973 were transferred to Davenport, Iowa. From there we lived in Bloomfield Hills, MI and Chicago, IL. We have a daughter in Phoenix and a son here in Mooresville. We loved our time in the Midwest, but were transferred back to the South. When the children were in school I remained at home being very active as a volunteer for United Way and active in our church and schools. When the children left home I went to work for a major bank and then was the purchasing agent for an international security firm. I am always amazed at how my years as a volunteer enhanced my years of employment. When moving to NC I started my real estate career….and I love it! Hi, I’m Jerry Sher and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to visit Lake Realty. After serving in the Navy, I returned to my home in New Jersey where I began my career in sales. I started as an Insurance agent for Met Life in the late 60’s. In the middle 70’s I moved with my wife and family to South Florida where I spent the next 30 years. During my time in Florida I became an avid boater and did some fishing. It was a great family experience for our children. We all looked forward to the weekends so we could get out on the boat. Now that I’m here in Lake Norman, it’s my grandchildren that experience the same excitement their parents did. In 2005 we escaped from the hurricanes to the Lake Norman area and are so happy we did.
